The short answer is No.
US Clinical Prep Course is a product of my own and separate with Mass General Brigham. Therefore, the letter will not come from the clinic or hospital.
I use the Mass General Brigham (MGB) logo for identification purposes and to provide a professional letterhead, which clearly indicates that I am an internal medicine physician practicing at an MGB-affiliated site. The AAMC guidelines outline expectations for professional letterhead, and I adhere to them. I’ve written multiple letters of recommendation in the past, and students have often shared that my letters were especially helpful due to their personalized nature. Just to let you in on a little secret—every student who completed a rotation with me back in 2024 had a 100% match success rate.
This is because hospital letterhead don't matter much in improving your chance to get interview and match. These 2 matters the most :
- The idea of the letterhead is to provide credibility of the person who writes the LoR. I have strong credibility, because I am a Mass General Brigham provider, a highly reputable institution in US. I have confirmed that I am allowed to mention my credentials, that I am MGB provider, and also attach my work email address in case they have question about your LoR, my email ends with @mgb.org which clearly shows my affiliation with MGB.
- The 2nd most important thing is the content of the letter itself; it has to be personalized and mention good things about you. This is the problem when you go for rotations through companies, you will likely receive a generic letter which ultimately hurts your application and people who didn't match or get low number interviews are left to wonder why that is the case.
Your LoR will have both component: strong credibility and personalized content! that is my promise to you
However, I have found that this is still the most common questions people asked, so I have provided you a screenshot of the letterhead so you can decide on your own if this is professional letterhead that you are looking for
